What the programme offers:
- An 8-week online or in person group experience
- Mixed‑gender groups
- A safe, non‑judgemental environment
- Tools and knowledge to recognise healthy and unhealthy relationship dynamics
- Support with understanding relational trauma, including emotional insight, boundaries, and self‑care
- Foundations for healthier future relationships
Before joining, each client completes a friendly and informal assessment conversation with a programme assessor. This helps us understand the client’s needs and goals, and ensures the programme is the right fit for them.
Who is eligible?
Clients are welcome if they:
- Are aged 18 or over
- Identify with any gender or sexuality
- Are experiencing or recovering from unhealthy abusive relationships
- Are currently still in the relationship or not
- Have previously used harmful or abusive behaviours but are assessed as low risk
Who cannot attend?
To maintain a safe and supportive environment, the following individuals are not eligible:
- Partners, ex‑partners, or family members wishing to attend the same group
- Individuals with unmanaged medium and high‑risk domestic abuse factors, including those currently supported by MARAC
- Adults with domestic‑abuse‑related convictions who have not completed a Behaviour Change Intervention form
- Adults with current or previous assault charges, ongoing police investigations, or active legal restrictions (such as Non‑Molestation Orders)
- Adults currently being investigated or part of an open investigation around sexual violence in any nature
- Anyone currently subject to bail conditions
- Individuals displaying high‑risk behaviours
- Individual unable to engage in group support
