Happy Healthy Love Campaign: Celebrating Healthy Relationships in Cornwall
Happy Healthy Love aims to celebrate and showcase what healthy relationships and behaviours look like, rather than focusing on the negative aspects. We want to celebrate, educate, provide advice and support, creating a collaboration of young voices, survivors’ voices, and organisations within or working with this sector.
Our Happy Healthy Love Campaign is here to help young people understand what makes relationships strong, supportive, and healthy. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong, we highlight what’s right, helping young people build happy, respectful connections. Whether you’re navigating friendships, dating, or family relationships, we offer practical tips and real stories from young people, survivors, and experts. Learn how to recognise healthy relationships, set boundaries, and handle toxic behaviours.
We are also providing resources for carers, parents, and professionals on how to have open conversations with young people about healthy relationships. Talking to young people about relationships can be challenging. We provide guides and conversation starters to help parents, carers, and professionals support young people in understanding love, respect, and communication.
We are excited to share that we have been awarded funding from the Cornwall Community Foundation for our Happy Healthy Love Campaign. This will allow us to provide dedicated resources, advice, and supportive guides about healthy relationships for young people across Cornwall.
We are aiming to create a range of bitesize resources for young people and professionals around healthy relationships, asking questions from young people in a range of topics which we are aiming to be providing to schools, colleges and will be accessible for free for parents, carers and professionals. We are aiming to deliver this project by the end of 2025.
