Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Support Groups

Survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence often carry the weight of trauma long after they have left an abusive situation. Our weekly Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (DASV) support groups provide a safe, empowering space for survivors to reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and take the next steps toward recovery.

What to Expect from Our Support Groups

Our Domestic Abuse Support and Sexual Violence Support groups are designed to build connections, support, and empowerment. Each session offers a supportive environment where survivors can share experiences, learn coping strategies, and regain confidence.

By joining a group, participants can:

  • Connect with others who understand their experiences
  • Learn tools to manage trauma responses and emotional distress
  • Build confidence and self-esteem
  • Develop skills to create long-term well-being

The 12-Week Recovery Tool Kit

After completing a support group, participants can enroll in our 12-week Recovery Tool Kit (RTK) program. This strengths-based course helps survivors reclaim their independence and develop protective, empowering behaviors. The RTK program focuses on long-term well-being by addressing the lasting impact of abuse and providing tools for a healthier future.

Who Can Join?

Our domestic abuse and sexual violence support groups are open to adults aged 18+ who:

  • Have experienced domestic abuse at any point in their lives
  • Are no longer in an abusive relationship and are living separately
  • Feel emotionally, psychologically, and physically safe
  • Are not currently experiencing domestic abuse, sexual violence, or stalking
  • Are ready to engage in group support and take the next step in their recovery journey

The Power of Group Support

Recovery from domestic abuse and sexual violence is possible, and it starts with taking the first step toward support. Our groups offer a compassionate community where survivors can find strength, hope, and the tools needed to rebuild their lives.
